International Negotiation Competition
Established: 1998

The International Negotiation Competition (INC) is the oldest and most renowned competition focusing on international legal negotiation for law students from all over the world. It offers a unique educational program for international legal practice. It is a law student competition in which a team of two law students representing a party/client negotiates either an international transaction or the resolution of an international dispute with an opposing team of two law students. Teams from around the world will meet each other and the judges. The judging panel consists of lawyers, business people and leading professors of law from the participating countries. The competition has become truly international, with teams regularly competing from Australia, Canada, Denmark, England and Wales, Germany, India, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Puerto Rico, Russia, Scotland, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland and the United States.


International Client Consultation Competition
Established: 1984

The Brown Mosten International Client Consultation Competition (ICCC) is an international competition for law students open to winners of national competitions. It is an annual competition for the winners of national competitions across the world. It provides an exciting opportunity for law students to learn and practice interviewing and counselling skills as well as to meet young (and not so young) lawyers from an amazing range of nations and cultures. Over the last ten years, law students from the following countries have taken part: Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, China, England and Wales, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Irish Republic, Jamaica, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, Poland, Puerto Rico, Russia, Scotland, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Ukraine and the United States.

Representing Switzerland in the International Competitions for Law Students

The winners of the Swiss competitions will represent Switzerland in International Competitions of Legal Negotiation or Client Consultation. The winners of each competition win a private expert practical skills training & coaching to prepare for the representation of Switzerland in the International Law Students Competitions.
